We might not know when Tiger Woods is going to tee it up in another PGA Tour event, but we do know one thing for sure. He will be teeing it up at St. Andrews over the summer.

18th_Green_and_ClubhouseWoods, Rory Mcllroy, Phil Mickleson, and a group of Open Championship legends will all participate in the Champion Golfers Challenge, a four-hole team based exhibition at St. Andrews days before the third major of the season gets underway July 16.

Scheduled to join Tiger, Rory, and Phil will be Tom Watson, Peter Thomson, Gary Player, Nick Faldo, Tony Jacklin, Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington, Louis Oosthuizen, John Daly, Stewart Cink, David Duval, Paul Lawrie, Mark O’Meara, Justin Leonard, Sandy Lyle, and Bob Charles.

“We are looking forward to a wonderful celebration of the rich heritage of The Open at the Champion Golfers’ Challenge in St Andrews,” Chief Executive of the R&A Peter Dawson said to golf.com. “As golf fans, we all have cherished memories of watching these great players competing over the years and the excitement of seeing such inspirational competitors winning The Open.”

Holes 1,2 17, and 18 will be played and the low individual score will count as the team score. The winning team will win £50,000 or $74,265 that will go to the winning team’s charity of choice.
